Community healing & Support groups

We offer safe, judgment-free support groups where youth, adults, and families can openly share their experiences with stress, grief, trauma, anxiety, or everyday life challenges. Each group is guided by trained facilitators and focuses on emotional healing, confidence-building, and building strong connections within the community. Our goal is to make sure no one feels alone and that everyone has access to the support they need to heal and grow.

The Nola Hope Project provides compassionate support to families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities who are facing financial or emotional hardship. Our programs offer access to essential resources such as food boxes, hygiene products, baby items, clothing, and emergency assistance when families need it most.

We also serve seniors and disabled adults through wellness checks, resource navigation, and community outreach to help reduce isolation and ensure they receive the care and support they deserve. For children and adults with developmental or physical disabilities, we offer guidance, referrals, and family support to help them thrive.

Our goal is simple: to strengthen our community by meeting basic needs, promoting dignity, and making sure no one is left behind.

“At The Nola Hope Project, we believe every family deserves support, dignity, and hope no matter their situation.”

— Daysha D., Founder

In November, our team went directly into Detroit communities to serve meals to more than 100 people experiencing homelessness. Each interaction reminded us that kindness matters, and even small acts of care can make a big difference.
